Social Media is a fantastic source for sharing info on lost pets.  Facebook has numerous Lost and Found pet pages.  If you do a search for your town you might be able to find the Animal Control facebook pages. Often many towns have other community pages and tag sale pages that may allow you to post your missing pet flyer.
